One confusing thing with Office Store

Our apps can be found in Office Store by searching for the app name in the search box. But if you just browse through all the results pages in "All categories", you won't see our apps listed there. There is a weird bug in the store engine that is guilty for such a behavior. It's confirmed by the Office Store support team. The support team suggested us to wait for the next Office Store with a brand-new engine. Ouch.

Microsoft Office Store is a great resource. Many interesting apps are showcased there. Some of  them are free, some require payment and can be purchased once or on a subscription basis. First of all, Office Store is targeted to be a place for business apps. If an app helps you to run your business it is unlikely that it's price will be $1 or $10 as we can see it in Apple App Store or similar markets. The max price of a SharePoint app in Office Store is restricted to $999.99. So what price is fair for a SharePoint app?

Meet the SharePoint FormDesigner

As a SharePoint power user you probably face with a task of advanced field managing in list item forms. You might need to hide or disable a field in a list item form before it is displayed to a user, depending on some condition you define. FormDesigner is a cutting-edge application for SharePoint 2013 which enables you to do so easily! 

It’s  implemented as an app part that can be added to Display, Edit or New list item form (only ListFormWebPart is supported). The app part has a few of simple properties.
